Cookies Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They let the site remember what you did and how you set things, the contents of your cart or the language you chose for example, and they help us understand how the shop is used. Other technologies do much the same thing, such as pixels, the browser's local storage, or third-party scripts; in this policy we refer to all of them together as „cookies“.
2. On what basis we use them
Essential cookies are stored without consent, they are technically necessary for you to use the shop (Section 109 (8) of the Electronic Communications Act expressly allows this exception).
All other cookies (functional, analytics, marketing) are stored only with your demonstrable consent, given by an active click in the cookie banner. If you do not consent, those cookies are not loaded. No optional cookie is ticked by default and refusing is as easy as accepting.
3. The categories we use
3.1 Essential (technical) cookies
These provide the basic functionality of the shop: keeping the contents of the cart, signing in, completing an order, session security and fraud protection. Without them the shop cannot work.

3.2 Functional cookies
These remember your preferences, the currency or language you chose, or products you looked at recently. Without them the shop works, just less conveniently.
3.3 Analytics cookies
These help us see in aggregate how many people visited the shop, which pages they looked at and where they abandoned a purchase. We use the data to improve the shop.

3.4 Marketing cookies
These serve relevant advertising on Facebook and Instagram and measure how well it works. We store them only with your consent.

4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by our partners. They also use the data they obtain through them for their own purposes, under their own privacy policies: Shopify (running the shop and analytics), Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) and Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics, where activated). For data collected through the Meta Pixel, we and Meta are joint controllers; you will find the details in the privacy policy.
5. How to change or withdraw consent
- On the site: click the Cookie preferences link in the footer and adjust the categories. The change takes effect immediately and applies going forward.
- In your browser: you can delete or block cookies at any time in the browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others). Blocking all cookies may limit how the shop works, the cart and completing an order in particular.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn.
6. Personal data from cookies
Where data obtained through cookies is personal data, we process it in line with the privacy policy, where you will also find your rights and who we disclose data to.

Supervision of the storing of cookies is carried out by the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (teleoff.gov.sk); on personal data protection the supervisory authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk).
8. Changes to this policy
The list of cookies we use may change depending on the tools we run in the shop. The current wording is always available on this page.
